Make a payment
To make a payment you will need your payment reference number, this is 11 digits long and starts with 50, you will find it on any letter that we have sent you.
Pay online at www.woking.gov.uk/pay you will need your payment reference number and a credit or debit card.
The quickest and easiest way to pay is by Direct Debit. We have 4 options for Direct Debit: every 2 weeks on a Friday, Monthly on the 1st, 10th or 20th. You can download a form by clicking the link below, either post it to us or email it to IncomeRecovery@nvhwoking.co.uk and we will do the rest.
Due to the way charges are raised, we cannot accept Direct Debits for leaseholders or bed and breakfast charges.
Pay over the phone by calling 0300 373 0373 and selecting option 2 to get through to the automated telephone service. You will need your payment reference number and a credit or debit card.
Home banking or standing order. If you use online banking at home or you want to visit your bank to make payments you can set up a standing order or make regular payments directly to Woking Borough Council. Your payment reference number must be used as the payment reference otherwise your payment will not be processed properly. Please make all payments to Lloyds bank PLC, sort code 30-00-00 account number 01390554.
Pay by cash or cheque at your bank, building society or a local post office. You will need a letter with a barcode to pay by cash or cheque at the Post Office. Cheques should be made payable to Woking Borough Council. All cheques must have your payment reference number, name and address clearly written on the back.
